Robert W. Frazer was born in Sacramento, CA, on December 19, 1911. He earned his A.B. degree in 1936, his M.A. degree in history in 1940, and his Ph.D. in 1941, all from the University of California Los Angeles. He taught at Adams State College (Alamosa, Colorado), the University of Wichita (Kansas) [Wichita State University], and the California State University in Long Beach, CA. He retired from there in 1975 as a Professor of History Emeritus.
