The collection contains the final transcript and audio cassettes from the 1985 oral history interview of Dr. Clayton "Sam" White conducted by Dr. Jake Spidle. Materials relating to Dr.White's distinguished career include newspaper clippings, a photograph, curriculum vitae and a listing of his publications.

This forty-three page interview documents the professional career of Albuquerque surgeon Dr. Lawrence H. Wilkinson (1916-1992). Included in this collection are the final transcript and audio recordings from an oral history recorded in 1984. Also included are three news clippings pertaining to Dr. Wilkinson.

Wilkinson and his family, represents the personal life, career, and interests of a physician who practiced medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico for forty years. Family mementos, professional and private writings, civic activities, honors, and correspondence highlight the life of a man devoted to his family, dedicated to his profession, and interested in helping to bring a medical school to his adopted state of New Mexico.

The collection contains the audio tapes and final transcript of an oral history with Dr. Sidney Solomon (1923-1992), a founding faculty member of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
