Abstract The Anthony Women's Civic Club of Anthony, New Mexico -Texas was organized in April 1947 to seek out ways to make Anthony a cleaner, healthier, and more enjoyable community in which to live. The club is no longer in existence and the records demonstrate the founding of the club in its early stages.
